What we teach
We teach “the whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27) and aim to never act outside of the authority of Scripture.
We believe that in order to be saved, one must:
- Hear the word of God (Romans 10:17)
- Believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and a man that walked the earth and died for our sins (Romans 10:10)
- Confess our faith in Jesus (1 John 4:2-3)
- Repent of our sins (Acts 2:38)
- Be baptized for the forgiveness of our sins (Acts 22:16)
- Remain faithful unto death (James 1:12)
How we worship
We worship like the Corinthians did:
- With “a hymn” and “a lesson” (1 Cor. 14:26, ESV)
- In prayer (1 Cor. 14:15)
- Taking up a “collection for the saints… Upon the first day of the week” (1 Cor. 16: 1-2, KJV)
- Observing the Lord’s Supper (1 Cor 11:23-26) on Sundays also (Acts 20:7)
We don’t use musical instruments, since we have no example of Christians doing this. Instead, their instruments were their hearts (Colossians 3:16).
